Bryson Loxley is a creative partnership rooted in over 20 years of industry experience and friendship. We are passionate about bringing craft and colour to commercial design solutions for our clients. We work on everything from corporate rebrands to start-ups and offer creative services that span product, print, packaging and more. No matter the size and scope of a project our approach is always human and hands-on.
I am a textile designer, specialising in print, pattern and colour for product, packaging and interiors. I started out working for Terence Conran 20 years ago and have since worked for brands and agencies of all sizes.
I’ve always enjoyed being creative and am at my happiest mixing colours and trying new techniques in the print room. Colour is my obsession and I love nothing better than creating, experimenting and printing with a new palette. It is the freedom that comes from working for ourselves that feeds my creativity. I always make time for the outdoors - swimming and rowing and walking with my black lab Olive.
With 25 years working as a designer and creative director I have worked on a huge variety projects. At the heart of my work is the need to be hands-on. Artistic creativity and craft interweave and I aim to bring as much playfulness into my work as I can. I have two teenage children, a dog and I love to swim outside all year round. For me being fit and healthy is necessary for doing good work.
I believe good business can be a force for positive change and good design is a powerful tool to help make this happen. I love the challenge of making beautiful things that don’t cost the earth, either financially or environmentally. I guess that’s my root philosophy – celebrate who you are. The best design is the most authentic.
